The game
Filed as Murder is a detective game. Every case, person and place in it is fiction; any resemblance to real people or events is coincidental.
Your account
Signing in is optional. Keep your Google account secure, because it is how you reach your saved progress and purchases. Choose a detective name that isn't offensive or impersonating someone; we may remove names that are.
Fair play
Don't cheat the leaderboards, scrape the case files, or try to break or overload the service. We may remove leaderboard entries or close accounts that do.
Purchases
Paid cases, subscriptions and group passes unlock content on your account. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in Manage billing. If something you bought doesn't work, email us and we'll put it right or refund you.
Our content
The cases, writing, art and audio belong to Filed as Murder. Share your results freely, but please don't republish the cases or their solutions.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep the game running and your progress safe, but the service is provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site before it takes effect.
