On Saturday 18 October, restaurant critic Sebastian Crane (56) dined at Tallow on Wharf Lane with his wife Philippa, his literary agent Marcus Hale and his editor Juno Pell. They sat at table 4, by the window. Crane took the window seat.
At 22:08, shortly after dessert, Crane collapsed. He died in the ambulance at 22:51. Toxicology has confirmed aconitine, the poison found in monkshood.
Everything left on table 4 was bagged and sent for analysis. Tallow's chef-owner and sommelier both have reasons to hate Crane, and both were working that night.
Find out how the poison reached him, when it was done, and why. You may make your accusation once you have established when the poison was given. You get one.
